Now into their fourth year together, Roland Systems Group through EDIROL, and Integrity’s Seminars4Worship program continue their close partnership in bringing visual solutions to the worship experience.

This year, Stephen Proctor will be visually supporting the evening concerts as well as teaching a few classes.  One class you will not want to miss is The VJ’s Toolbox.

The class will expose you to hardware and new media content that will enhance the worship experience and better equip the VJ. Specifically, you’ll learn about the art of mixing visual content and i-MAG (live video), the art of digging for new and fresh content, and “out of the box” VJ-ing techniques, such as visual synthesizing. Featured tools in this seminar will be EDIROL mixers and the CG-8 visual synthesizer, as well as high-quality and breathtaking media content not typically found on the beaten path of church media resources.

You can also take in a class called The Role of the VJ which will be dedicated to the philosophies of VJ-ing and mixing and creative ideas on how to mix content.

Meet Stephen (just call him “Proctor”)
Ever since a young age, Stephen Proctor has had a passion for music and new technologies. Beginning in college, he started experimenting with blending visual mediums with musical settings in worship gatherings, and he soon discovered that there was much more to visual worship than cool backgrounds and slide presentations. Now a developed VJ, “Proctor” can be found on the road with a vast array of worship bands, artists and speakers, as well as traveling overseas and immersing himself in various cultures. He, along with Nate Griffin, started “gi, inc.” (grateful inconvenience, inc.), a missional company devoted to excellence & creativity in producing events, pioneering the new world of “VJ-ing”.  See more including demo reels at www.gi-inc.org/
